Pilgrim Pete
For the past several years, my life has taken many twists and turns. From my retirement earlier than anticipated, losing two family members to a deadly disease, walking a total of over 2000 km through Spain and France on two separate occasions, and traveling across Canada and the US on several major road trips, my life has changed significantly. I have reconnected with old friends, met some incredible people, and lost out on very special relationships. I have also hiked, biked and driven tens of thousands of kilometers to amazing places that most people have never seen. Ever since my first Camino in 2019, I have begun to try and live each day with gratitude and adventure, knowing that life is too precious to be squandered. I have made many mistakes yet learned some very valuable lessons along the way. My glass will continue to be viewed as half-full and I will always pursue my new ideology – to Live Large.
